You may have seen that our Festive Special last year was recently shortlisted for "Leading Live Event" at the prestigious This Is Manchester Awards, and this year, we’re setting our sights even higher! Join us for an unforgettable weekend of board games, RPGs, festive fun, and much more, as we transform the event floor at Sachas Hotel into Manchester’s ultimate gaming hub.

Get ready to immerse yourself in an entire weekend of tabletop gaming and festive fun! Join us on the event floor at Sachas Hotel, right in the heart of Manchester, for two jam-packed days filled with board games, RPGs, geeky shopping, and holiday cheer.
What to Expect
Access to the D&F Board Game Library: Dive into over 500 games, from party favourites to strategic challenges. With something for everyone, our friendly D&F hosts are always on hand to give you recommendations and help you find the perfect game.
RPG Sessions & Immersive Experiences: Throughout the weekend, you can join RPG sessions and unique immersive events like the fan-favourite "Immersion Pavilion" for a truly unforgettable experience.
MCR Geek Fayre: Running from 12 pm to 5 pm on both days, explore our indie traders’ market full of geeky treasures — from board games and RPG accessories to art, jewellery, and more. Festival ticket holders get free entry!
Board Game Bring-and-Buy Sale: Find a bargain or sell your pre-loved games. A great way to make space on your shelf for new favourites!
Special Events & Festive Fun: Join us for the infamous "Oxleys Board Game Pub Quiz" on Saturday and "Board Game Bingo" on Sunday to add some light-hearted competition to your weekend. Plus, participate in our Secret Santa exchange, and check out our Empty Table donation point to give back this holiday season.
